Initially started as a promotion campaign for the BIC Church magazines, the Ignite the Spirit campaign went on to become the campaign for the overall BIC Communication effort. Noting that shared ideas can help multiply those ideas extent and success, the promotion effort was used for two years at several bi-national and regional conferences to stir participation of all of the churches with each other and with the overall organization.
After the logo and slogan were first introduced, they began to be utilized in displays and promotions throughout various conference events.
